Gold & Silver Awards

Gold and Silver Awards are based on quarter grades.  For 7th and 8th grade, honor roll is used. For sixth grade, gold and silvers medals are earned based on a formula that includes both academic core classes and exploratories.  As with seventh and eighth grade, academic core classes were given more weight.

The Silver Award is presented to students who have a cumulative grade point of 3.0 - 3.49 based on the average of their first, second, and third quarter grades.

The Gold Award is presented to students who have a cumulative grade point of 3.5 - 4.0 based on the average of their first, second, and third quarter grades.
