Red Wheel Fundraiser

Friends of the Middle School (FOMS) sponsored a fundraiser kick-off on Monday, 
February 24th purchase the following items for the Middle School and our students: Hovercams and Apple TV’s; microscopes; Family and Consumer Science equipment; 7/8 grade football jerseys; 7/8 Band t-shirts; 7/8 girls and boys basketball uniforms; Middle School t-shirts; supported dances; brought the screening of Finding Kind to the Wieting Theater twice; supported the yearbook; purchased concessions for all students and staff who attended the second quarter PBIS celebratory movie at the Wieting; helped purchase t-shirts for Friends for Change (Rachel’s Challenge) for the past two years; and, 7/8 boys and girls track uniforms.

Students received their packets at the rally on Monday. The last day to turn in orders is Thursday, March 13th. Students do not collect money, but all customers must pay for and pick up their orders at the Elementary Cafeteria on Wednesday, April 9th from 4pm until 7pm.

Incentive for sellers are: for every 20 items sold, the student may choose an item valued at $16 or less; top sellers will be invited to a pizza party; top 3 sellers will split $100 in cash; all students who turn in at least one order will be able to attend an assembly where one student seller from each grade will be drawn to throw a pie at Mr. Townsley. Students will be given a ticket for each order sold. These tickets can be placed in a drawing for I-tunes cards or cash.
