7th Grade Football Results
South Tama vs Williamsburg
September 6, 2018
The 7th grade football team hosted Williamsburg in their season
opener. Williamsburg scored first on a 50 yard touchdown run
in the first quarter. The two-point conversion was good
making the score 8-0. In the second quarter South Tama
scored on a 38 yard touchdown run with some good blocking
by the offensive line. The two-point conversion failed.
Williamsburg came right back and scored on a 60 yard
touchdown run making the score Williamsburg 14 and South
Tama 6 at halftime.
Neither team was able to score in the second half as both teams
played really good defense. South Tama did have a big play in
the 4 th quarter blocking a Williamsburg punt but was unable to
convert it into points. Final score Williamsburg 14 South
Tama 6.

7th Grade Football Results
South Tama vs Benton Community
September 11, 2018
Game #1
The 7 th grade football team played their second game of the
season hosting Benton Community. Benton scored the first
touchdown of the game in the second quarter on a 25 yard
touchdown play. The two-point conversion failed. South Tama
was able to come right back and move the ball down the field
and score right before the half on a 4 yard touchdown run. The
two-point conversion was good making the score 8-6 in favor
of South Tama at halftime.
In the third quarter, South Tama scored on a 50 yard run. The
two-point conversion was good making the score 16-6 in favor
of the Trojans. The South Tama defense was able to keep
Benton scoreless in the second half. Final Score South Tama 16
Benton 6.
Game #2
The South Tama Trojans scored on their first possession of the
game on a 33 yard touchdown run with some nice blocking by
the offensive line. The two-point conversion was no good.
Neither team was able to score for the rest of the half as both
defenses were playing well.
South Tama scored one more touchdown in the fourth quarter
on a 6 yard touchdown run. The two-point conversion failed.
The Trojans were able to keep Benton out of the end zone the
entire game. Final score South Tama 12 Benton Community 0.
