On April 5th, South Tama County Community Schools will bring to our patrons an election for the allowed uses of the Iowa 1-cent sales tax that is dedicated to all Iowa schools. What is a Revenue Purpose Statement?
It is a ballot issue that describes the allowed uses for the Iowa 1-cent sales tax that is dedicated to all Iowa school districts. This $.01 sales tax is known as SAVE (Secured an Advanced Vision for Education). South Tama County Community’s current Revenue Purpose Statement was originally passed in April 2008.
