Wieting Theatre: Power of Air Camp

Does your child like building with their hands and a challenge?  Then "The Power of Air" is for you.  The Wieting Theatre is hosting the "Power of Air Camp" this summer.  This class is open to students entering 3rd through 5th grades.  Class runs from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. from July 31st through August 3rd.  The $70 fee includes a t-shirt.  Students will be using materials developed by Pitsco, a company that designs hands-on projects that address all learning styles.  The focus will be to use the scientific method to design cars using a variety of materials, sizes, and shapes.  The kids will then get opportunities to race their cars and figure out ways to make them faster.  Registration forms went home with each student but can also be downloaded at wieting.tamatoledo.com.  Hope your child can join in the fun at the Wieting.  Scholarships are available.
